Erin represented a high-level executive with substantial current and expected future assets and elementary school aged children who was in the midst of contested divorce litigation. After spending a lot of money on legal fees, the client was interested in shifting gears to see if the parties could resolve their case with less court involvement specifically as the court process had strained his relationship with his soon to be ex-spouse. Despite emotions being high between the client and his spouse, Erin was able to negotiate an agreement with opposing counsel with the assistance of financial advisors and therapists and keep the parties out of Court. The family was able to save significant money as a result of avoiding what could potentially have been an extremely expensive trial and the client and his ex-spouse were able to improve their communications with one another preserve their co-parenting relationship with each other post-divorce.
